So, I've made this years resolution to up my output on character designs. Resolutions are made to be broken, but hopefully I can keep on track with this one. My first entry is of Choad, a starship naviator. I think I'm going to keep my first batch of character designs within a world that I've created, essentially yet another space adventure series...Wish me luck!

Well, I've been a member for 4 years, and just keep forgetting to put some artwork up. I'm an art director in the casual gaming industry, and have been swamped with work so I just don't have the motivation to art for myself anymore. I'm really hoping to change that and get the passion for art back.

Where did you get those BTAS images of Matt Hagen and Victor Fries?
I drew them, but I did use a lot of reference. I kinda composited a bunch of in game stuff into one image, then light boxed them. Re-colored and re-lit them.

I was just checking some stuff when I came across your gallery and I remembered immediately where I had seen it before : you were (are) part of the superbuddies forum, right ? I already check your stuff/write comment. I enjoyed how precise your art was, in the way that it could be promotionnal pictures from WB : sametones, same exact colors, etc ... That was always well done.
